Amazon.com is listing Night World: The Ultimate Fan Guide with a release date of October 27, 2009 (just in time for Halloween). They’re listing October for a UK release also, though no specific date is set. There’s not much more information about it, but L.J. Smith tweeted a while ago to say that she was checking through it, so hopefully that’s a sign it’ll be accurate.

In related news, it looks like Night World audio books are on the way. Secret Vampire, Daughters of Darkness and Spellbinder are being slated for a November 1st, 2009 release, with Amazon stating November for the UK as well. No clue yet what the CD covers will look like, or who will be narrating them. I’ll let you know when I find out.

Amazon.com are now listing the publication date for book 10 of the Night World series, Strange Fate, as 6th April, 2010. Most of us in the fandom are probably prepared for this date to be shifted at any given moment, but this time we do have a cover to keep us going as we wait. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I zoom in on the image on the Amazon page, the girl on the cover seems to be sporting a rather Hannah-like birthmark smudge on her face. Though everyone seems to be going with the ‘bad blush in photoshop’ theory, so I’ll go with the masses on that. ;)
