I’ve taken the plunge and finally converted Twilight Tales to an automated archive and gallery. What does this mean? Basically, like with fanfiction.net, you sign up for an account and upload your own work without having to rely on me updating. This way your work goes up when you want it to, you can upload works-in-progress, you have much more control over it, you can get reviews right here on the site, and you can finally have fancy things like bold and italic text in your fanfictions. ;)
As before, the site still has a fanfiction archive and a fanart gallery. To add your work, you will need to sign up for them – don’t worry, it’s quick, easy and free. I’ll also be available for you if you’re confused or have problems.
I will be working on getting all fanworks transferred over to the new sections, though it will take a long time to get all the fanfiction transferred.

Updated the archive with 5 fics (Forbidden Game, Night World & Vampire Diaries) and 5 pics (Forbidden Game, Night World & Vampire Diaries).
In other fanfiction news, now that the Vampire Diaries TV series is under way, I just want to remind people that while I’m not archiving fanworks for it on Twilight Tales, you are very welcome and encouraged to post them (along with Vampire Diaries fanworks based on the books) in the following places:
Fell’s Church Library
Fell’s Church Gallery
TVD Fic on LiveJournal
And a reminder that the new omnibus reprint of Dark Visions is out now

After 11 years, I have finally managed to find and install a search engine that actually works. It’s not completely perfect, but it works just fine for finding the fanfics about the characters you like best (which is what most people want it for, anyway). I’ve added the form in the sidebar to the right, and also to the fanfiction page.
Sorry it took so long, and I hope you find it useful. :)

You may be reading this and thinking that there’s something… different about the site. That would be a nice, fresh installation of WordPress. I’ve installed it mainly to make my life a little easier with maintaining the site and keeping news and things up to date; it’s a lot easier to do that when you only have to log in to the dashboard and have everything a mouse-click away.
I’ll be gradually converting the pages over to the WordPress layout, but until then the rest of the site will work anyway, though you’ll probably get a little dizzy as the pages will be using the old layout.
I have no plans of converting the fics themselves to WordPress pages. There are well over a thousand of them, and to do that would just be insanity, from both the perspective of having to put the time into converting them, and also because WordPress isn’t really built to handle that many different files in a sane manner.
So, please bear with me while this transfer takes place, and if you find anything broken, please be sure to contact me and let me know about it.
