Info: Christopher Marlowe wrote a poem titled "The Passionate Shepherd to his Love," in which a shepherd, in the best pastoral tradition, tries to persuade a woman (shepherdess?) to have sex with him. It's available on the web and most English poetry anthologies. After Marlowe wrote his version, another poet wrote a "nymph's reply," and then there was at least one other version that I know of. So it's a poem that's been the subject of fanfic before, so to speak. Marlowe sounded half-serious in his version, but later versions (including mine) have gotten increasingly away from a serious plea to the girl.

Info: This poem relates to Keller(Night World). She doesn't
really know where she stands,she knows she is to lead but she's so
caught up in that that she has no time to deal with the truth,that
she doesn't know who she is,she lost because she has no one to care
for her (or so she thinks). The poem talks of a girl unable to
understand herself so she lives in fear that no one will ever
understand so she must never trust.It shows the struggle and hardship
she goes through,the darkness she enjures just to find who she,what
she prepared to go through.
